Christmas Backpacks Statewide Collection
October 24 - October 30
The statewide collection week for Christmas Backpacks. Backpacks filled by Alabama Baptist churches go to children living along the Mississippi River, who are among some of the poorest in the United States. Alabama WMU and the State Board of Missions provide bands that identify the age and gender for each backpack.
Chilton Baptist Association churches bring their backpacks to the CBA office by Thursday, October 22, ahead of the statewide collection.
