This week’s resource is an episode of the On Preaching Podcast from H.B. Charles Jr., pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. In about twenty minutes he names ten things artificial intelligence cannot replace in preaching, including the Spirit’s work, careful reading of the text, personal discovery, pastoral concern, and believing prayer. His governing rule, borrowed from Kevin DeYoung, is worth the whole episode: use AI to fetch you things, not to make you things.
