CBA Weekly: A Season of Sending and Serving

Summer ministry is in full swing across Chilton County. Students are preparing to serve in New Orleans, and churches are gearing up for camp and VBS. It is a season of sending and serving. Thank you for the ways your church pours into the next generation.

United in Prayer

Significant moves of God are preceded by united prayer. We invite you to join believers across Chilton County in praying for a gospel awakening in our county and beyond. Sign up for a daily prayer time (as little as 15 minutes) at pray.chiltonbaptist.online. Every slot covered is another hour our county is bathed in prayer.

Prayer Focus This Week

• Mission Lab (June 28 to July 3): Pray for students as they serve in New Orleans, and for the leaders pouring into them. Pray for safety, gospel boldness, and changed hearts.
• Kid’s Camp (July 13 to 17, Shocco Springs): Pray for campers, counselors, and the children who will hear the gospel. Registration is closed, so pray now for the team preparing.

• GriefShare — Wednesdays, 10:00 to 11:30am (June 17 and June 24). A caring place for those walking through loss.

Church of the Week

This week we lift up Thorsby First Baptist Church, where Marc Hodges serves as pastor. Pray for this congregation as they make disciples and develop leaders in Thorsby. We thank God for their partnership in the work across our association.
