CBA Weekly: One County, One Night, One Gospel
On Thursday, October 1, churches from across Chilton County will gather in the same room. Celebration 250 is not another event on a crowded calendar. It is one night when 54 churches stop working in parallel and worship as one body, asking God to do in this county what no single congregation can do alone.
That is worth clearing your calendar for now, before September fills up.
Celebration 250
Thursday, October 1, 6:30 PM
Chilton County High School Auditorium
Rob Jackson (ALSBOM) preaching
A county-wide prayer night comes first, on Wednesday, September 30. Between now and then, the most useful thing any of us can do is pray and invite.
United in Prayer
Pray 4 Chilton continues to grow. Sign up for a 15-minute daily prayer slot and join believers across the county covering our churches, our pastors, and our neighbors in prayer.

Prayer Focus
- Celebration 250 preparation. Pray for Rob Jackson as he prepares to preach, for the counselors who will serve during the response time, and for hearts across the county to be made ready between now and October 1.
- The Week of Prayer for State Missions, September 13-20. Alabama Baptists will pray together and give to the Myers-Mallory offering. More on that below.
- Churches in a season of searching. Several CBA churches are seeking pastors or ministry staff. Pray for wisdom for the search teams and patience for the congregations.
- The school year settling in. Pray for students, teachers, coaches, and parents as the first full month of routine gets underway.

Church of the Week
This week we lift up Ebenezer Baptist Church, pastored by Danny Rasberry. Please pray for Bro. Danny and the Ebenezer family as they carry the gospel to their neighbors.

Resource of the Week
Week of Prayer for State Missions and the Myers-Mallory Offering (Alabama State Board of Missions and Alabama WMU), September 13-20.
For every church that wants to pray and give alongside Alabama Baptists this fall. The church revitalization piece is the one I want our churches to see, because there are congregations all over Alabama asking God to breathe life back into them, and this offering puts real resources behind that work.
