How to Encourage Your Pastor

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and most church members want to encourage their pastor but are not sure where to start. Having served as a pastor, I know the weight many pastors carry unknown to those around them. Many of them don’t want extra recognition or honor for how they serve the Lord, but Scripture tells us that those who labor well at preaching and teaching are worthy of double honor, so it is biblical to honor your pastor for his faithful service. We hope this document helps spark some ideas for how you can encourage and support your pastor year round, not just in the month of October.
