CBA Weekly: Kids Camp Week (Coming Soon!), Prayer, and Ways to Grow

Friends, summer is in full swing across Chilton County, and with it comes one of the sweetest weeks of our year: Kids camp! Kids from our churches are about to hear the gospel, make memories, and be poured into by faithful leaders. Whatever your week holds, take a moment to thank God for the good work He is doing in and through our churches.

Prayer Focus

• Kid’s Camp (July 13-17, Shocco Springs). Pray for every camper who will be there, for the leaders and counselors serving all week, and for safe travel. Pray that children would meet Jesus and come home changed.
• Mission Lab team. Give thanks for the students and leaders who served in New Orleans, and pray the seeds planted there keep bearing fruit. We have so many incredible testimonies that they won’t fit in this newsletter!
• Pastors and their families as they carry a full summer of ministry.

Saturday, August 15, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at West End Baptist Church. A day to invest in your marriage with comedian Clay Cox (Dry Bar) plus Cliff and Toma Knight (Lakeview Baptist, Auburn). $50 per couple, lunch included. Register

Church of the Week

This week we lift up Alpine Baptist Church, pastored by Johnny Jones. Please pray for Johnny and the Alpine Baptist family as they carry the gospel to their neighbors.

Grow With CBA (Open to Everyone)

Discipleship and training through CBA are for every believer who wants to grow, not just pastors and staff.
