From the State Board: Dr. Rick Lance September Update
Each month, Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions Executive Director Dr. Rick Lance shares a short video update with churches across the state. September’s update runs just over two minutes, and three of the four things he previews are already on the calendar in Chilton County.
What he covers
- The 25th anniversary of September 11.
- The Week of Prayer for State Missions, September 13 to 20, and the Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering. Every dollar given supports Great Commission ministries across Alabama, including Disaster Relief, church planting, and church revitalization.
- Pastor Appreciation Month in October.
- The State Convention Annual Meeting in November.
The Week of Prayer begins this Sunday. Free resources are available for churches that want to take part, including a prayer guide, videos, social media graphics, and large screen graphics.
